DETAILS:
  • There will be two opportunities to take the written examination. One will be in a session in the north metro Atlanta area on a weeknight. The second will be on either Friday night or Saturday morning in Cartersville
  • There will be opportunities to practice the land navigation portion of the test in weekends prior to the test IF sufficient volunteers are found to help set up the course. Setting up the course should take most of a Saturday morning. Volunteers should have the rest of the afternoon to practice
  • The practice session fee is $5/participant unless you help put up the course. The practice session is free for any volunteer (non-SARTECH II evaluator workshop student) who helps build the land nav course. The $5 fee covers the cost of the assignment sheets and the materials used in building the course.

As a NASAR-credentialed Lead Evaluator for the SARTECH II certification examination, I assist other evaluators in conducting evaluations. Otherwise, I only assist with evaluations that are organized by a team. The SARTECH II evaluation is a written- and practical test of the candidate's skills as a field searcher. I discuss it in detail on my SARTECH II FAQ.
